How to Sign Up as a CARA Member

  1. Download the CARA app:
    Tap here to download or search for ‘CARA SG‘ on Google Play or the Apple App Store
  2. Install the app once the download has completed.
  3. Submit your application:
    Select your profile type (Member of Public, Caregiver, or Person living with dementia) and complete the registration.

How to Redeem the SPH Media’s Digital News Publication

  1. Check your Email:

    You will receive a welcome email from CARA ([email protected]) within 5 working days after you have successfully submitted your registration on the CARA app. Don’t forget to check your spam/junk folder!

    If you have signed up for CARA using your Apple ID without providing your email address, please update your email address in the CARA app under My Profile > Personal Details.

  2. Redeem coupon code at SPH Media’s website:

    A complimentary coupon code will be sent to you in the welcome email.

    Instructions will also be provided in the same email on how to choose your preferred SPH digital publication on the SPH Media website. After keying in the coupon code, you will be able to activate your SPH Media digital subscription for free.

I am currently a CARA member (registered before 6 February 2026), am I still entitled for the one-year digital subscription to SPH Media’s news publication?

This promotion is only applicable to newly registered members from 6 to 20 February 2026. Rest assured we will continue to introduce new campaigns/promotions for the benefit of our current members. 

Is this promotion only applicable to Caregivers?

No. This promotion is applicable to all CARA members who sign up during the promotional period, including Members of Public, Persons Living with Dementia and Caregivers).

Do I have to give my personal details to SPH Media to enjoy the one-year digital news subscription?

Yes. To create a user account, SPH Media requires essential information including your name, email address, contact number, and marketing consent.

Will I receive the newspaper in print?

No, you can enjoy the one-year access to SPH Media’s digital news publication of your choice, via Web or App only.

Can I change my selected digital news subscription after submitting the form?

Your selection once submitted cannot be changed. Please choose carefully.

I signed up for a CARA account using my Apple ID and did not receive the Welcome email, what should I do?

If you have signed up for CARA using your Apple ID without providing your email address, please update your email via the CARA app (under My Profile > Personal Details) so that you can receive the ‘Welcome’ email. 

If you are not able to update your email address, please contact us at [email protected] for assistance.

What should I do if I do not receive the Welcome email?

Check your spam/junk folder.  If you are sure you have not received the email, contact CARA support at [email protected] for assistance.

I have questions about redeeming this complimentary subscription as I already have an existing SPH subscription. Who can i enquire with?

This complimentary subscription cannot be stacked or used to extend your existing SPH subscriptions, if any.
